In the new year Ritchie Burcombe (Project Manager) and Mark Tootell (Earthworks Manager) pictured attended schools at St.Mary's and Magdalane. Costain were given a warm reception by the teachers and kids who were keen to ask a variety of questions.
Big issues covered were Safety on Construction Sites and why the existing pumping station needed replacing.

Costain were pleased with the enthusiam of all involved and are keen to work with the schools in the coming months and years on a variety of projects such as safety posters, interviews, site visits and competitions to cement the good community relations with Costain and promote the industry to the Engineers of tomorrow!
Following our first successful Public Meeting held on the 9th November we are committed to keeping the local and wider communities informed about the contract. Public meetings will be held regularly at the Methodist Chapel in Wiggenhall St.Mary's. Dates for the meetings will be posted on this website as well as locally distributed flyers and adverts in local shops.
